Finding County Information Online
With multiple land development applications (Kincora, Dulles Town Center) happening in and near our community, I thought it would be helpful to provide you with instructions on accessing county documents and information online.
Loudoun County offers comprehensive information about land development applications through the Loudoun Online Land Applications (LOLA) System at www.loudoun.gov/lola. From that webpage, click the link for "Loudoun Online Land Applications." This will take you to the main interface for LOLA.
You can search land development applications by year, application type, status and address using the menu options on the right-hand side of the webpage. Clicking a pin on the map will give you more information on that application.
To search by application name and/or number, click on the link for the "searchable list" for applications. To find the Kincora application, for example, enter "Kincora" in the second textbox labeled "Enter a Application Name" and click the search button immediately below. From the list of applications found, click the last link for "KINCORA VILLAGE CENTER." This will take you to the main webpage for that application. Documents related to the application, including staff reports, can be found towards the bottom of the page. The list of documents is sorted alphabetically. Staff reports presented to the Board of Supervisors begin with the abbreviation "BOS."
The final staff report on the Kincora application will be posted on the main application webpage on July 7.
Sincerely, Andrea McGimsey
Potomac District Supervisor
